Meal Plans 2009/2010
Dining Services at the University of Vermont is committed to serving the diverse needs of the University community. With multiple dining locations throughout our campus we truly offer something for everyone.
Each meal plan offers a variety of meal options, satisfying varied dietary requirements, personal tastes and individual schedules. Whichever plan you choose, you know you’re getting excellent meals at a terrific value.
Resident Student Dining Meal Plan
All resident students must choose from one of the plans below. For students not living in on-campus housing or for staff and faculty members, special plans may be purchased on a voluntary basis. Resident meal plans can only be used at on-campus dining locations.

The "Unlimited Access" Plan offers unlimited entries into any of our three "all you care to eat" resident dining halls:
Cook Commons, Harris/Millis and Simpson.
Each "Unlimited Access" Plan includes an option for 250 or 100 retail points, three guest meals per semester, plus one take out meal per meal period at our designated "all you care to eat" dining locations:
- with 250 retail points ……… $1696 per semester
- with 100 retail points……… $1516 per semester
Unused retail points at the end of the fall semester will carry over to spring semester. Unused points at the end of spring semester are non-refundable.

| Retail Dining and Points Plan (two options) |
The Retail "Points" Plan is a declining balance account. One point has a value of $1.00 at a retail campus dining facility. In addition Retail Points can also be used to pay the door price at any of our "all you care to eat" dining locations. It is the responsibility of the points plan holder to budget their retail points. The Retail "Points" Plan offers two options for retail points; plus 20 meals per semester, which can be used throughout the semester at any of our "all you care to eat" dining locations: - with 1366 retail points
$1516 per semester
- with 1050 retail points
$1193 per semester
Unused retail points at the end of the fall semester will carry over to spring semester. Unused points at the end of spring semester are non-refundable. Any unused meals at the end of fall and spring semester are non-transferable and non-refundable.

Your selected Meal Plan can be accessed using your UVM ID Card. All plan holders must present their ID card at a dining facility to utilize their plan.
